Wicked Day is Shaping up to be a Great Treat
The cast from the hit West End musical Wicked are laying their final preparations to their annual charity fund raising day.
This will be the third Wicked Day set up to raise money for charities and this year it promises to be bigger, better - and greener - than ever!
Events are scheduled to take place in eight cities around the world and all are poised to help raise funds for good causes. Wicked Day in New York is even planned to involve the iconic Empire State Building be turned a vibrant shade of green!
The festivities in London continue this green theme by arranging to raise money for Thrive, a charity that offers practical therapy for handicapped and disabled people by giving them the chance to get involved with some gardening in and around the capital.
So get down to The Lindley Hall at the Royal Horticultural Halls in Vincent Square, London (SW1P 2PE), on Sunday 26 October from 12 noon to 6pm. Wicked Day will feature a host of Wicked and Halloween-themed events including competitions, performances, face-painting, workshops and fancy dress. Members of the Wicked cast will be taking part so mark it in your diary today...in green pen!
