Rain Man Postpones Press Night
New West End production Rain Man, based on the MGM motion picture has announced a delay for its London premiere.
Due to open to London's press Monday 8th September, producer of the new West End show, Nica Burns, has pushed back Rain Man's official opening to Friday 19th September. In response to the change in schedule Nica commented, "We are delighted that the first two previews went well to audiences from as far a field as Australia and Los Angeles. However we lost a week of rehearsal at the beginning of the process. As it is a new play we are continuing to refine it as usual. Therefore the press night date has changed to the only night available in the very full autumn schedule".
Playing at the Apollo Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue, Rain Man is the stage adaptation of the original MGM picture that starred Dustin Hoffman. Adam Godley and Josh Hartnett lead the London cast with direction from Terry Johnson and design by Jonathan Fensom.
Running for a limited season only, tickets are available now as part of a London theatre break with Show and Stay®.
