Reported by Show and Stay® two weeks ago, the full, star-studded ensemble of Three Days of Rain has now been announced and is set to wow audiences when the piece leaps into action next spring. Playing at the Apollo Theatre from February 2009, Richard Greenberg's acclaimed social drama will feature Golden Globe and BAFTA award nominee James McAvoy as 'Walker Janeway' as he prepares to divide up his late father's inheritance with his sister 'Nan' (Lyndsey Marshal) and childhood friend 'Pip' (Nigel Harman). Pip's father, Theo, was a business partner to Walker and Nan's dad and his fate is also tied up in the miles of red-tape that hold together the Janeway estate.
This award-winning story about the enigmatic qualities of family and friendship will be directed by Jamie Lloyd. Famous in recent months for directing the hugely successful Piaf at The Donmar, Jamie Lloyd is bound to bring his unique brand of theatrical flair to the rich and emotive script.
Opening to the public on February 10th, 2009, Three Days of Rain is bound to be a huge hit in the West End so buy tickets early. Boasting a witty script and a performance from one of Britain's most exciting and talented young actors, the Apollo is definitely the place to be to weather those seasonal showers!
