Girl With a Pearl Earring To Close Early

Girl With a Pearl Earring, the stage adaptation of Tracy Chevalier's enchanting best-seller, is to be the second production in a row to close early at the Theatre Royal Haymarket.

The production opened on September 29th and was originally scheduled to run until November 1st 2008. Sadly, Girl With a Pearl Earring is to close a full two weeks early, on October 18th 2008. The show stars Adrian Dunbar, Kimberley Nixon and Olivier Award-winner, Sara Kestelman.

The show came to the Theatre Royal Haymarket after the moving wartime musical, Marguerite, was forced to close two months early. The show's producers blamed the UK's gloomy economic climate for the early closure.

Treasure Island starring Keith Allen is the next show coming to the Theatre Royal Haymarket, it will run from November 7th 2008.
