The Mousetrap Theme
This London production is a classic mystery and is full of deception and suspense. The suspense is built in the classic Christie style, with the characters arriving one by one before the realisation that they are all trapped with a murderer in their midst. Mystery surrounds each of the characters who all have questionable backgrounds and secrets that are revealed as the show progresses, each of them becoming plausible suspects. The suspense builds in The Mousetrap with every plot and character twist and keeps the audience guessing until the very end.
The characters in The Mousetrap all seem to be hiding something in true murder mystery style. The initially above suspicion guest house owners who were both in London at the time of the murder, the twitchy Mr Wren who admits he is on the run from something though will not reveal what and even the supposedly heroic Sergeant Trotter and Major Metcalf all have things to hide but which of group is the murderer? The only way to find out is to see this superb London play.
