Lyric Shaftesbury Theatre
The Lyric Theatre is the oldest surviving theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue, opened in 1888. It was initially built to house light operettas but went on to house many light comedies and straight dramas including a five year run of Five Guys named Moe.
