Avenue Q Music
Imagine a musical version of Sesame Street (there is no connection to the television show or its characters) where the characters deal with issues such as surfing the internet for porn, sex and drinking and you have the West End musical Avenue Q.
Avenue Q's music is as explicit but humorous as the rest of the show, delivered in comical style in the squeaky voices of the cast to enhance the comedy. Present and correct are the usual ballads and rousing show tunes that you'd expect from a musical but each is tinged with adult humour or interspersed with expletives to produce a perfect comical effect.
Avenue Q Songs
This musical acts as a soundtrack to the average adults life, there is a little something there for everyone. The tracks Mix Tape and What Do You Do With A BA in English? are especially comical and certainly hit home for some!
Songs include, If You Were Gay, The Internet Is For Porn, Everyone's A Little Bit Racist, There's A Fine, Fine Line, The Avenue Q Theme, I Wish I Could Go Back To College, From Now, Purpose, I'm Not Wearing Underwear Today, Special, You Can Be As Loud As The Hell You Want, Fantasies Come True, There Is Life Outside Your Apartment, My Girlfriend Who Lives In Canada, Schadenfreude, School For Monsters and The More You Ruv Someone
